Kathmandu – Miss Grand Nepal 2025 winner Jessica Singh Thakuri has resigned from her title, alleging continuous mental harassment and mistreatment by the organizers of Miss Grand Nepal.
In a video message posted on social media, she said she had been facing pressure and threats for a long time and decided to give up the crown to protect her self-respect and speak out for the safety of other women.
She claimed that she was pressured to sell tickets during the competition and did not receive proper professional support even after winning the title. She also stated that she faced difficulties and threats while preparing for the international competition.
Thakuri said she chose to resign after experiencing continued mistreatment and character attacks, adding that her decision was based on self-respect rather than weakness.
