Kathmandu: The ‘Kids, Miss & Mrs.’ Competition was successfully concluded on Sunday at the futsal ground of Kanjirawa School in Koteshwor, Kathmandu, bringing together children and women to showcase their talent, personality, confidence and creativity.
A total of 32 contestants participated in the competition, which was organized with the objective of providing a platform for children as well as married and unmarried women to demonstrate their abilities and enhance their confidence and personality development.
Former Ambassador to Spain and Oman Dr. Sharmila Parajuli Dhakal attended the event as the chief guest. Former Ambassador to Australia Mahesh Dhakal, senior Nepal Television journalist Manohari Thapa, artist Kiran KC, politician, social worker and entrepreneur Muskan Poudel, representatives of the Himani Trust, Make Upr DJ Yuba, young astrologer Arjun Neupane, actor Shree Dev Bhattarai, Ramesh Pathak and other distinguished personalities were also present at the event.
The event featured a series of musical and entertainment performances. Singers Sapan Shrestha, Ram Krishna Shrestha, Sarika Ghimire, Santoshi Karki and Ramesh Pathak entertained the audience with their popular songs. Popular artist Gopal Dhakal ‘Chhande’ and Neelam Kafle hosted the program.
The judging panel consisted of Rajendra Kamal Rai, Prashant Tamang, Shileshma Hamal, Sejal Jalan and Julie Gurung.
Winners Announced in Three Categories
In the Kids category, Swastika Shrestha was crowned the winner, while Babina Thokdar became the First Runner-up and Homina Rokaya the Second Runner-up.
In the Miss category, Prasi Adhikari won the title. Prakriti Adhikari was named First Runner-up, while Akriti Tamang secured the Second Runner-up position.
In the Mrs. category, Sunita Munakal won the title, followed by Asma KC as First Runner-up and Bina Tamang as Second Runner-up.
In the Kids category, Rihan Sharma Luitel received the title of Best Disciplined Contestant.
As a special gesture of encouragement, chief guest Dr. Sharmila Parajuli Dhakal provided Rs. 1,000 in cash to each contestant participating in the competition.
Organized Through Collaborative Efforts
The event was jointly organized by Niri Zumba & Dance Academy, Shobha Boutique and Pageant Nepal, with the active involvement of Rita Shrestha, Shobha Gurung and Momotha Basnet.
United International Pvt. Ltd. served as the main sponsor, while Nepal Telecom was the co-sponsor. Cosmic International School and Kanjirawa School supported the event as supporting sponsors.
The competition also received support from successful women entrepreneur and producer Minu Sapana Sharma, Jai Navadurga Jewellery and Sahana Boutique. Women entrepreneur Sushila Thapa was associated with the event as the dress designer, while Sandeep Thapa handled graphic design.
Bhumika Thapa was responsible for event management, while Puram Rai and Neha Joshi served as coordinators. The management team also included Sanila Shrestha, Bunu Khadka Subedi and Vidya Shrestha.
According to the organizers, the primary objective of the competition was to provide children and women with a meaningful platform to showcase their hidden talents while encouraging personality development, self-confidence and creativity. Winners were presented with various titles, prizes and honors at the conclusion of the event.
