Mumbai. Nepali actress Neetu Koirala has been honored with India’s prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Indian Television Award in Mumbai, India. Actress Koirala has been honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, which is considered to be India’s biggest award after the Padma Shri Award, and is named after the famous Indian personality known as the King of Bollywood.
According to Indian news media, the actress has been honored with Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023 of Indian Television for her high contribution through acting in Nepali movies, music videos and various teleserials for the last one and a half decades.
Actress Koirala was given the honor during a grand ceremony held at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai, India on February 5. Mumbai Police Assistant Commissioner Police Chief Sanjay Patel presented the honor to actress Koirala. In the same ceremony, the award was also given to famous celebrities of Indian television.
Koirala, who has been honored with many prestigious Indian awards before, is one of the most honored Nepali actresses in India.
