Bangkok, Thailand. Professional makeup artist Zuzu has been awarded the Best Professional Makeup Artist – Thailand category at the prestigious 4th Star International Awards this year. Residing in Thailand for over a decade and actively contributing to the beauty and fashion industry, ZUZU’s dedication, creativity, and professional excellence led her to win the honor.
At a grand ceremony held at Hotel Picnic in Bangkok, Pokharel was jointly felicitated by Lokendra Wali, Bishwo Baral, Sunil Khadka from NRNA Thailand, the event’s organizing chairman and world record holder Rajendra Luitel (Raj), and program coordinator Tekraj Pandey.
Receiving the award, an emotional ZUZU expressed:

From bridal and special-event makeovers to fashion shows, movies, and advertising campaigns, her artistry has gained wide recognition.
She believes makeup artistry is not just about beauty enhancement but also a form of art and a way of empowering confidence. Pokharel has also been inspiring the younger generation to bring their skills and talents into the international arena with professionalism and creativity.

The Star International Award is presented annually to Nepalis around the globe who have excelled in their respective fields. This year’s edition was celebrated in Thailand with grandeur, honoring personalities from various fields, including arts, social service, and business. Future Plans
Looking ahead, ZUZU expressed her desire to extend her skills to Nepal as well. She aims to establish a professional beauty and training institute in Nepal, bringing international-level practices into the country’s growing fashion and beauty industry.
