Kathmandu — The song and music video “Mero Desh Nepal”, created to promote Nepali indigenous music, literature, and culture, has been officially released in the presence of distinguished guests and artists.
The program was chaired by former Under Secretary and Language Commission member Usha Hamal as Chief Guest, while record-holding composer Santosh Shrestha attended as Special Guest. The event was also attended by Ramesh Pathak, President of the Nepal Music Welfare Fund, Gobinda Madhur Acharya, President of Rapti Samaj, and director–choreographer Krishna Rasal.
The song features vocals and music by Chetan Rai, lyrics by Rajaram Paudel, arrangement by Sabir Karki, and mixing–mastering by Gobinda Soni. The music video stars Chetan Rai, Prabin Puri, Sagar Basel, Anita Parajuli, Samikshya Paudel, Rita Achhami, and Sumi Lama, with child artists Chirayu Bikram Rai and Chahana Rai.
Shot by Sabin Timalsina with drone visuals by Yog Raj Bishwokarma, the video was edited and color-graded by Raj Dhami. Directed by Chetan Rai, the post-production was completed by Sekai Entertainment.
