The grand finale of Face of Junior Model Season 1, organized by Black Bird Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., was held on Saturday at Music City Nepal, Bal Kumari, Lalitpur, in a highly spectacular and disciplined setting. The event aimed to encourage children’s talent, self-confidence, and personality development.
A total of 18 talented children from 15 schools across the Kathmandu Valley participated in the competition, showcasing their skills, performances, and confidence in various disciplines. The event impressed the audience with its captivating choreography, well-organized management, and engaging presentations.
The chief guest of the program was Mrs. Jayanti Satyal, Chief of the National Examination Board, Bagmati Province. In her address, she lauded Black Bird Entertainment for its significant contribution to nurturing children’s talents, boosting self-confidence, and developing practical skills. She emphasized that such competitions play a vital role in fostering leadership, creativity, and social presentation skills among children.
The competition was conducted in two categories: Senior and Junior. In the Senior category, Bidhya Bhattarai won the title, Most Popular, and Most Talented awards, while Rinzin Dorje Lama secured the Public Choice, Best Walk, and Best Singing awards. Silbiya Upreti was recognized as the Most Photogenic, and Jenisha Shrestha won Best Speech.
In the Junior category, Dorothy Shah claimed the title along with Best Dance and Best Walk awards, winning three accolades in total. Alisha Jaisi was declared the First Runner-up, Binisha Bista the Second Runner-up and also Most Popular, Most Talented, and Most Photogenic. Other winners included Ananya Pant (Public Choice and Best Artwork), Sara Lama (Most Confident and Best Smile), Samragee Gurung (Best Singing and Cutest Baby of the Year), Kishmina Tamang (Best Cooking), Prizma Bhandari (Best Hair), Swara Gautam (Most Active), Udita Rana (Best Personality), Sumi Barma (Most Disciplined), and Alisha Jaisi (Best Speech and Beauty with Brain).
All winners received trophies, certificates, and attractive gifts. The organizers also announced that participants who delivered outstanding performances would be given priority in future modeling events.
The judging panel included renowned personalities from the Nepali entertainment industry: actor Tej Giri, Miss Manaslu College 2081 winner Roshin Dhakal, model and entrepreneur Abha Basnet, and model Jishu Koirala. The judges praised the children’s performances and extended their best wishes for the bright future of the young talents.
The success of the event was credited to the dedicated team of Black Bird Entertainment. Under the direction of Event Director Sabina Shrestha, the team included Sandeep Bhujel (Official Dance Choreographer), Sumi Baniya (Official Choreographer), Ashmita Shrestha (Dress Designer), Dikshya Lama (Makeup Artist), Kiran Syanga (Photographer), Laxmi Kumar Shah (Graphic Designer), Sonit Raj Dhungel (Educational Advisor), and Rushana Khand (Event Coordinator).
According to the organizers, the children’s confident presentations transformed the competition into a platform not just for competition, but also for learning, creativity, and self-expression.
Black Bird Entertainment has previously organized successful national events such as National Kids & Teens Superstar, Little Champions Nepal, and National Kids Talent Wave. The organization is committed to promoting Nepali art, culture, and children’s talents on both national and international platforms.
At the conclusion of the event, the organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all parents, school representatives, judges, participants, and supporting institutions, and announced their commitment to conducting similar creative programs on a larger scale in the future.
