Kathmandu — Renowned dance director Sandeep Bhujel has been honored with the “Genius Kala Samman 2082” during the grand 6th Genius Music Award 2081 and Achievement Award 2025 ceremony held at Nepal Police Club in the capital.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Hon. Indra Bahadur Baniya, Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, and recognized outstanding personalities who have made significant contributions to music, dance, and the arts across the country.
Active in the field of dance for many years, Bhujel has earned widespread appreciation for his creative choreography and for introducing new dimensions to the Nepali entertainment industry. Expressing his gratitude after receiving the honor, he said:
“This award, bestowed in recognition of my contribution to the field of dance, has become a moment of great pride and inspiration for me. It has encouraged me to work even harder in the days to come.”
Sandeep Bhujel has been actively contributing as a choreographer in various national and international beauty pageants, dance shows, and television programs for many years. He has played an instrumental role in establishing dance not just as a form of entertainment but as a well-structured, dignified, and respected profession in Nepal.
The ceremony, presided over by event organizer Ramesh Pathak, saw the notable presence of artists from various fields, distinguished personalities, media representatives, and dance enthusiasts.
