Kathmandu: ‘The Glam Night’ under Mrs. Nepal World 2026 has successfully concluded at The Ramalaya in Dhapasi, Kathmandu. The contestants walked the runway in elegant outfits designed by Shri Aavi Boutique, showcasing their confidence, style, and personality.
The event witnessed the participation of individuals from various fields.
Contestant No. 4, Richa Sharma, said the competition provides a valuable platform for married women to boost their confidence and showcase their talents. Residing in Dhobighat, Lalitpur, Sharma described participating in Mrs. Nepal World as one of her dreams.
She noted that many women aspire to move forward but are often held back by various circumstances. According to her, women can discover their abilities and potential only when they dare to take the first step. She encouraged women to use such opportunities to pursue their interests and fulfill their childhood dreams.
“This is a great platform for women to move forward. It is like a second chance in life. Such competitions are not limited to unmarried women; married women can participate as well,” Sharma said.
She added that the competition offers learning opportunities beyond runway walking, including grooming sessions and other training activities, which help contestants develop confidence and present their talents.
Dermatologist Dr. Suchana Maratha, who attended the event, also described Mrs. Nepal World as an excellent platform for married women to demonstrate their abilities. She said she had gained a deeper understanding of the competition after becoming associated with the organizers and was helping contestants with skin health and skincare.
Dr. Maratha praised the outfits showcased during The Glam Night and the overall event management, expressing her gratitude to the organizers and The Ramalaya.
Nisukanta Jha, chairman of Ribbon Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., praised the contestants for their enthusiastic participation and confidence on stage. He said it was encouraging to see women who are often occupied with family and daily responsibilities come forward to showcase their abilities.
According to Jha, this is the fifth edition of Mrs. Nepal World and the 10th edition of Mrs. Nepal International. This year, Mrs. Nepal Cosmo has also been introduced, with its inaugural edition being organized.
Contestants must be between 21 and 50 years of age to participate. The competition also features the ‘Ms. Nepal’ category for divorced and single women, Jha said.
Following The Glam Night, the competition will move toward its grand finale, scheduled for October 31, 2026 (Kartik 14), at Nepal Police Club.
Jha said the support and cooperation of contestants, audiences, and well-wishers would be essential to making the competition a success.
