Kathmandu- The 5th Annual General Meeting was held under the chief guestship of the Chairman of the National Assembly, Narayan Prasad Dahal, and a special honor ceremony was also organized.

The program was held under the special hospitality of the Chairman of the Finance Committee and Member of the House of Representatives, Santosh Chalise, the Chairman of the Commerce and Supplies Committee and Member of the House of Representatives, Abdul Khan, and the founder of Maiti Nepal, Anuradha Koirala.

Meanwhile, musician Sumi Parajuli has been honored with the “Musician and Singing Award 2082”. She was presented with this special honor by the chief guest, Dahal, special guests Chalise and Khan.

Parajuli, who has been active in the Nepali music industry for a long time, has been given this honor. Parajuli has carved a special place among the audience with popular songs like ‘Maya Garne Taraki’, ‘Chumma Chappakai’, and ‘Lukamari’.

The unique combination of emotion, style, and voice is the specialty of her songs. She has been making a strong presence in folk and modern styles in recent years. After receiving the award, Parajuli expressed her feelings, saying, “This is a very proud moment for me.
As I continue to move forward with the belief that the journey of the Nepali music industry is the result of continuous resourcefulness, dedication and creativity, this award has made me more responsible and inspired.” She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Event Management Association Nepal and the entire organizing team for presenting the award, appreciating her musical contribution.

A significant number of event directors from across the country and event organizers from India participated in the event organized at the grand hall of the National Dance Hall. The event was chaired by Laba Bahadur and coordinated by Raj Luitel.
