Kathmandu — With the theme “Respect for Seniors, Encouragement for Juniors, and Recognition of New Talents – Our Mission”, the 4th Moulik Gandaki Star National Award, Creator Honor, and Cultural Program 2082 was successfully organized in a grand manner.
The event was jointly organized by Upama Sanchar Pvt. Ltd. and TejNepal Multimedia Pvt. Ltd. The program was held under the chief guestship of Devendra Dahal, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport. Special guests included Dinesh D.C., Chairperson of the Film Development Board; Asha Gautam, Chairperson of Upama Sanchar (also presiding over the event); and Suman Kumar Shrestha, Chairperson of TejNepal Multimedia.
Prominent personalities honored with the “Shrashta Samman” (Creator Honor) included renowned artist Sabin Bastola, senior journalist Krishna Bhattarai, veteran singer and music composer Thaneshwor Gautam, and senior folk singer-composer Rajan Bhujel Bishwakarma.
Additionally, the “Dashak Samman” (Decade Honor) was presented to distinguished contributors such as singer Mandavi Tripathi, folk singer Kulendra Bishwakarma, folk singer Devi Hamal, cinematographer Neeraj Kandel, singer Binod Dhakal, artist Panha Adhikari, singers Kavita Raut, Chetam Gautame, Shobha Pandey, Sarla Raut, Manu Thapa Magar, journalists Riden Maharjan and Nirmal Poudel, graphic designer Bikram Sunar, and editor Rameshman Shrestha.
The event commenced with a welcome speech by Ram Krishna Pandey Aman, Vice-Chairperson of Upama Sanchar.

Concluding the program, Chairperson and Presiding Host Asha Gautam expressed heartfelt gratitude and joy for the opportunity to honor creators and contributors from various fields. The event was emceed by P.N. Sapkota.
