Actress Aarti Acharya has been dedicated to the field of art for the past ten years. She began her journey from Nepal Next Top Model and has already acted in more than six films, including Love Diaries, Selfie King, and several others. Starting her career with supporting roles, she eventually took on her first lead role in the film Aadhi Tufan 2.

She has shared the screen with some of Nepal’s well-known actors such as Bipin Karki, Dayahang Rai, and Aanchal Sharma. Aarti is also a BBA student, and despite her studies, she has always been passionate about the arts and plans to continue dedicating her future to this field. Aarti says that her love for films began at a very young age.

Whenever she went to the cinema with her parents, she imagined how exciting it would be to act on screen herself. This curiosity gradually turned into a strong passion for acting. For her, acting means deeply understanding a character, observing their life, and portraying them with complete authenticity. She believes that the message a character conveys to society is equally important. Aarti openly shares that she has not earned the kind of money she once hoped for, even after being in the industry for many years.

However, she feels grateful for all the love, support, and blessings she has received. She believes that a person can survive as an artist, but it requires tremendous dedication and hard work. Reflecting on her decade-long journey, she considers herself fortunate to have met many good people along the way. She says that every field is challenging for newcomers, but with discipline, determination, and continuous effort, one can eventually reach their destination. Though the journey may be difficult, the satisfaction that comes from hard-earned success is incomparable. Aarti emphasizes the importance of training in acting. She believes that to excel in any field, deep study and understanding are essential. Good institutions, theatre houses, or mentors play a crucial role in shaping an artist.

While learning opportunities were limited in the past, today Nepal’s film industry offers many platforms for aspiring actors. According to her, discipline is the foremost quality required to become a good artist. One must know how to speak, walk, and imagine creatively. It is important to learn from every struggle and surround oneself with good company. Responsibility and a constant desire to learn are key traits of a true artist. Aarti shares her personal opinion that artists should focus on their craft rather than politics. She believes that leadership skills are indeed important for an artist, as they can use these qualities to contribute more effectively to their field. Since the country needs strong leadership, she says it is better to uplift each other and contribute positively rather than pulling others down.
