The top five nominations for the 7th Sagarmatha Music Awards 2082 have been officially announced. Organized by Artha Nepal Pvt. Ltd. under the slogan “Honoring Nepali art and creators, preserving and promoting Nepali culture,” the awards have revealed the top five nominees across 24 categories.
According to a statement issued by the organizing committee, the nominations were selected based on the decisions of the jury and the organizers.
Program coordinator Manoj Thapa informed that artists have participated in categories including film, pop-modern, and folk & dohori music.
Similarly, the awards will honor one distinguished personality who has made significant contributions to Nepali music with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Additionally, a journalist with more than 25 years of active involvement in entertainment journalism will be presented with the Silver Journalism Award, as shared by program head Purushottam Basnet.
The public can vote for their favorite nominees through the Khalti app.
