Kathmandu — The second song titled ‘Sindurko Rang’ from the upcoming film ‘Chitthi’, set to release on Bhadra 20 (early September), has been officially launched. Produced under the banner of Era Production, the film is directed by Madhav Raj Kharel and will be distributed by Kuber Distributors Pvt. Ltd.
The emotionally driven song highlights themes of marriage, trust, dedication, and a woman’s silent struggle. The lyrics are penned by journalist Kamala Joshi, composed by Saroj Koirala, and sung by Benisha Paudel. The video features actors Sanjit Bhandari, Kanchan Chalise, and singer Paudel herself.
‘Chitthi’ is a horror-comedy film that also touches on social realities, institutional corruption, psychological conflict, and family emotions, according to director Kharel. It aims to offer a unique taste to the audience with a socially relevant narrative.
The film features a diverse cast including Khagda Bahadur Pun ‘Khabpu’, Gopal Dhakal ‘Chhande’, Mohan Niraula, Namrata Kharel, among others. The film is produced by journalist Kamala Joshi, with cinematography by Jeevan Parajuli and Rajan Kharel, editing by Rajesh Kumar, and sound editing by Amit Shrestha and Manoj Pariyar.
The movie also includes another song ‘Tuteko Tara’ written by Dr. Krishna Hari Baral, composed by Shiva Pariyar and Saroj Koirala, along with ‘Shiva Tandav’ sung by Basant Aryal.
