World renowned lyricist Dr. DR Upadhyaya has again set seven world records. Former Labor and Employment Minister Rameshwar Ray Yadav handed over seven world records to Upadhyay at a special function in the capital on Thursday.
Seven world records were handed over to Upadhyaya at a function hosted by former president of the Lyricists’ Association Chudamani Devkota and former president of the International Literary Society (ANESAS) Radheshyam Lekali. Upadhyaya’s seven new world records include 41 lyric poems using the words hate and cap, 53 lyric poems featuring the names of different birds and dogs, lyric poems using the word ‘this’ at the end of 43 words, lyric poems using 60 words ‘we’, 170 different lyrics. There are lyric poems using the name of the brand’s mobile, lyric poems using the name of 100 music bands and lyric poems using the names of 60 vehicles.

These seven records have been given to him by 14 organizations including Everest World Record, Asian World Record, American Book of Records, European Records Book.
On the occasion, musician Santosh Shrestha, singer and musician Sagar Adhikari ‘Sharad’ and writer and journalist Krishna Bhusal were honored by the World Representative of the World Book of Records, Sagar Katuwal.
Some time ago, Upadhyay had entered the Guinness Book of World Records by publishing an article on the same headline in 36 different national dailies on the same day. People from various dailies and media outlets who played a supporting role in keeping this record were also honored on the occasion.

In the program coordinated by media person Naresh Bhattarai, former minister Yadav said that these actions of Upadhyaya have enhanced the pride of the nation and made Nepal known to the world. Other similar guests included Dr. Praising Upadhyaya’s work, he congratulated him and wished him to add more world records. The program was conducted following health standards to avoid corona infection.

This world record I have set is for the purpose of enhancing the pride of Nepal ‘, Dr. Upadhyaya said. Dr. Upadhyaya has earlier enhanced Nepal’s pride by setting 52 world records in music and various genres. Upadhyaya has published about a dozen novels and three anthologies. Similarly, hundreds of songs from his 24 albums are in the audience.
