Kathmandu — The grand finale of Nepal’s leading children’s singing and dance reality show, “Little Champions Nepal – Season 2,” was successfully held on Poush 29 at the auditorium of Nepal Police Club, Kathmandu. The event was organized with the objective of identifying, nurturing, and promoting hidden talents among children and witnessed an overwhelming presence of audiences, parents, and distinguished guests.
The competition was organized by Black Bird Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., with overall leadership and event direction provided by Sabina Shrestha, Managing Director and Event Director of the organization. Owing to excellent management, disciplined execution, and high-quality performances, the grand finale was widely appreciated by attendees.
The program was hosted by popular and energetic presenter Sonit Raj Dhungel, whose engaging presentation style, smooth coordination, and audience interaction added vibrancy and memorability to the event.
Following nearly two months of continuous professional training, the grand finale featured 80 talented students selected from more than 40 schools across Kathmandu. The competition has established itself as a significant national platform for showcasing children’s artistic skills, confidence, and stage performance.
Renowned choreographer Sandip Bhujel served as the official dance choreographer for the grand finale. Under his guidance, Shanti Tamang, Ashbin Gurung, and Yunika Khatiwada provided dance training and choreography to the contestants. In the singing category, well-known music arranger Bibhushan Rai conducted vocal training for the participants.
The judging panel consisted of experienced and respected personalities. In the dance category, senior choreographer Prem Lal Shrestha, noted choreographer and music video director Prabin Thapa, and popular model and dancer Kavita Nyaupane served as judges. In the singing category, prominent music director and lyricist Rajendra Kumar Shrestha, renowned music director Alish Karki, and popular singer Januka Tamang evaluated the performances.
The chief guest of the event was Dinesh D.C., Executive Chairman of the Film Development Board Nepal, and a well-known artist, director, and producer. Addressing the audience, he emphasized the importance of continuing such platforms to take Nepali child talents to national and international levels, while extending congratulations to the organizing team.
Winners were announced across junior dance, senior dance, and singing categories. The event concluded with widespread appreciation from audiences, parents, and guests for the contestants’ performance standards and overall event management.
Black Bird Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. has expressed its commitment to organizing similar high-quality national-level programs in the future to further promote and empower young Nepali talents.
