Kathmandu – The children’s talent hunt program Little Champions Nepal, organized by Black Bird Entertainment, has officially entered its second season following the remarkable success of its first edition. After achieving outstanding results in terms of participation, management, and overall impact, the organizers have expanded and systematized the program this year in response to strong demand from parents, schools, and students.

The audition for Little Champions Nepal – Season 2 was held on Mangsir 6. A total of around 400 students from 40 different schools in and around Kathmandu participated, showcasing their hidden talents in both dance and singing. After a fair and rigorous evaluation process, 100 outstanding contestants were selected to advance to the next round.

Selected participants will undergo regular training sessions every Saturday for seven consecutive weeks starting from Mangsir 13. During this period, they will receive professional training in dance and vocal techniques, stage performance, confidence building, expressive skills, and discipline. After the completion of training, a grand finale will be organized where all contestants will compete for the prestigious titles.

Winners and runners-up will be declared under the categories of:

  • Dance Senior Group

  • Dance Junior Group

  • Singing Group

Notably, the top winners will get the opportunity to represent Nepal at an international cultural program to be held in Thailand. The organizers believe this platform will play a vital role in taking young Nepali talents to the international stage.

To maintain professional standards, dance training will be provided by renowned choreographers and trainers Sandeep Bhujel, Shanti Tamang, Asbin Gurung, and Yunika Khatiwada, while singing and music training will be conducted by vocal coach Bibusan Rai. Under their expert guidance, children will refine their skills, gain stage experience, and receive valuable direction for their future careers.

According to the organizers, Season 1 provided many children with their first experience of performing on a grand stage, significantly boosting their confidence. It also strengthened networking and cooperation among schools and allowed parents to observe their children’s talents more closely. Building on that success, Season 2 has been launched with a stronger structure, an experienced management team, and a clear international exposure goal.

The organizers further emphasized that the main objective of Little Champions Nepal is to promote the holistic development of children, preserve cultural values, and inspire the younger generation to build a future in the field of art and culture.
