The first audition of the 11th edition of ‘Miss Beautiful’ and the 10th edition of ‘Mrs Beautiful’ was successfully held on Saturday at Gharana Lounge & Bar, Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu. Organized by Dakshya International, the audition saw the participation of more than two dozen contestants in both Miss and Mrs categories, according to the organizers.
The audition was judged by renowned personalities including veteran comedian and actor Rajaram Paudel, senior folk singer Bom Bahadur Karki, pageant choreographer Ashwini Jha, and Priya Karki, the winner of Mrs Beautiful Nepal 2025.
Chairperson of the organizing committee and Chief of Daksh International, Tek Raj Pandey, informed that the selected contestants will undergo a one-month personality development and pageant training program starting next week.
According to Pandey, the training will include media communication, public speaking, emceeing, personality development, confidence building, fitness, yoga, self-makeup, and fashion-related sessions.
The Grand Finale of the event is scheduled to be held on Bhadra 6 at the National Dance Theatre. Pandey also stated that interested participants who missed the audition can still apply by contacting the Daksh International office in Baneshwor.
The event was attended by special guests including social worker and artist Muna Niraula, Milap magazine editor Krishna Bhusal, and pageant director Shanta Kumari Tamang.
The program’s partners included Badri Thapa as the photography partner, Cute Care & Cute Hub as the makeup partner, and Dina Gurung as the dress partner.
