Kathmandu – Popular Nepali actor and hero Gajit Bisht has been appointed as a member of the Film Workers’ Insurance Program Operating Committee by the Film Development Board.

This appointment has been regarded as a recognition of his remarkable contribution, dedication, and longstanding involvement in the Nepali film industry. Through his acting career, Bisht has not only entertained audiences but has also helped promote cinema as a powerful medium to spread positive social messages. Upon receiving this responsibility, Gajit Bisht expressed his strong commitment to making the Film Workers’ Insurance Fund a “reliable support system during times of hardship” for film professionals.
