New York: A special musical tour featuring renowned Nepali singers and performers is set to take place in different cities across the United States to celebrate Haritalika Teej, one of Nepal’s most cherished cultural festivals.
The “USA Tour”, scheduled from August to September, will feature live Teej songs, folk duets, dance performances and other entertaining cultural programs.
Popular singer Sindhu Malla, singer and music composer Ashish Aviral, folk singer Bhagwan Bhandari, and singer Maulika Karki are among the main artists participating in the tour. The performers are expected to entertain Nepali audiences with their popular songs, traditional Teej music and energetic stage performances.
Organized under the theme “This Teej, the whole of America will dance and sing,” the tour aims to create a festive atmosphere for Nepali communities living in the United States. Songs such as Chitikkai Bhachha Re, Antai Lover and Rato Sari Rato Tika are expected to be among the major attractions of the program.
The event will include a Teej special musical celebration, live dohori, dance performances and various entertainment activities. It is also expected to provide an opportunity for Nepali families and communities to gather, celebrate together and stay connected with their cultural traditions.
The organizers believe the tour will help promote Nepali music, culture and identity among the Nepali diaspora while strengthening friendship, unity and community relationships.
