Colombo. The second Global Tourism Conference has been grandly completed in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Jebisha Thapa, a beautician from Nepal, was honored at the ceremony held at Hotel Zest Metropole in Colombo. Thapa, a beautician who has been active in the beauty field for a long time, was jointly honored by Vasudev Mishra, the Nepali ambassador to Sri Lanka, Danuska Jayasinghe, head of Sahodarathweya Piyasthahan Foundation Sri Lanka and Nishanath Perera, a tourism businessman and head of Isna Holidays.
Sri Lankan tourism businessmen and social workers were also present in the program organized for the promotion of tourism in Nepal. Thapa, who has been working as a beautician for a long time, has managed to win the award as the best makeup artist even in Dubai. Thapa, who has been honored by various associations in the country, has been providing excellent service from JV unisex salon brand.
The event was held under the chief hospitality of Vasudev Mishra, the Nepali ambassador to Sri Lanka, and was jointly organized by Nikila Media Network on behalf of Nepal and Sahodarathweya Piyasthahan Foundation on behalf of Sri Lanka.
In the event, Sri Lankan tourism business speakers said that Sri Lankans portray Nepal as a major religious tourist destination and although the number of Sri Lankan tourists visiting Nepal has increased annually, the number of Nepali tourists visiting Sri Lanka from Nepal is low, so they are hopeful that the number of Nepali tourists visiting Sri Lanka will increase with this event.
